This song has been getting stuck in my head ("Listen" has too.)Sometimes you have to say goodbye and it's really hard. They may not understood why at the moment, but maybe someday they will. It's never fun or easy. In fact it hurts and is sometimes the hardest thing to do is say goodbye.

I wish it hadn't happened this way, but that's that way it needs to be for now. Sometimes the road must end when views are different, things revealed, shadows unmasked or rules broken. I hope one day you realize why I did what I did. Maybe someday we will meet again and we can smile and talk and figure out what we are. I won't promise because I don't know where life will leave us; but I'll miss you, I won't lie.
