Soooooo, at the Gideon Media Arts Confrence I went to this last week, I took an acting workshop and one of the things I learned was: EVERY time you are in a scene your character has to NEED or WANT something from the other character etc. Never really thought of that before; like it kinda hit me on the head, like a piano, that my acting is what we call "selfish" acting. That it's not for the audience....it's about me.....ah well.
So I learned that, but I think this also applys in real life too. We need to need from people, it keeps us humble and real. The fake ones and the shallow ones only need theirselves. Being open and needing someone else is the key to really trusting, and trust is the key to loving I think.....but what do I know? ;)
